John Fox Tavern

On December 29, 2008 Dominion purchased the Marker Road property! Previously Dominion stated that they responded to the issues raised at the February scoping meeting and during the FERC comment period for the proposed Middletown site... seems like there are no problems that DTI can't overcome. This forum was created so that DTI's responses can be discussed.
BEFORE THEY GO TO APPLICATION ON THE PROPERTY!

The National Civil War Preservation Trust’s inclusion of South Mountain on its annual list of the Nation’s Most Endangered Battlefields really highlights CPMV’s cause and lends us much needed publicity. Thanks to Rich for spearheading this!

I wonder if Dominion plans to respond to the recent endangered battlefield designation. I would be interested in hearing their position.

How Impresseive! We made it onto the Top 10 Endangered Battlefields list, truly something to be proud of.

It's too bad that Dominion didn't research all of this history BEFORE they purchased the land. Maybe they will be generous supporters of the CWPT and DONATE the land to be preserved for future generations and for the sake of hallowed history. It would be a good tax write off for them.

Guess I'm digging in for the long run - being on the Top 10 list makes me have even more of a vested interest in saving this piece of land.
